El Paso Carpet One Floor & Home is your neighborhood leader when it comes to tile, as we offer one of the area's best selections. We even offer a great selection of wood tile in our El Paso, TX showroom. What exactly is wood tile? Well, quite simply, it’s real tile that looks like wood.
Wood tile has the same construction as any other ceramic or porcelain tile option. It’s therefore suitable for kitchens and bathrooms, and it can be installed on floors, walls, backsplashes, and countertops. Furthermore, wood tile is installed and maintained no differently than regular tile. But, because of advancements in digital printing technologies, wood tile looks exactly like real wood! In fact, most wood tile options are available in plank sizes. So, if you want to add real wood style to areas with moisture or heavy foot traffic, be sure to take a look at wood tile.
We’re happy to offer a few different wood tile options as part of our overall tile selection. Let’s take a closer look at two of our featured styles from Daltile and Emser Tile.
Saddle Brook: The Saddle Brook collection from Daltile combines the real looks of wood with the strength and durability of porcelain. Saddle Brook tiles feature Daltile’s Reveal Imaging technology, so their visuals are truly authentic. And, since they are porcelain tiles, they can be installed in areas with extreme moisture. The tiles are available in 6”x36” planks.
Heritage: Heritage tiles from Emser Tile, like Saddle Brook tiles, look like real wood, but they feature a glazed ceramic construction. As a result, they are perfect for bedrooms, living rooms, and other areas where spills and foot traffic are issues. Heritage tiles are available in four different wood styles, and they come in 6”x24” planks.
